Because it’s just me handling all drop-offs, pickups, and trips to the dump, I’m able to keep my costs lower than larger companies with multiple employees on the payroll and higher insurance premiums. And when my costs are lower, your costs are lower.
The only other portion of the rental fee is to cover my overhead and the time it takes to deliver, pick up, and unload the dumpster. No mystery surcharges. No random “service fees.”
When a dump trailer is rented out, it can’t be rented to someone else at the same time. That’s called opportunity cost — the missed opportunity to serve another customer while the trailer is in use.
I believe that when you know exactly what you’re paying for, you can budget with confidence. By being transparent and keeping my operation lean, I’m able to pass those savings right back to the community — and that’s exactly why I started this business in the first place.
